Diplomats

Leaders can be assigned as a Diplomat to a rival Civilization to raise relations, perform Trait-based operations and to generate Diplomatic Capital, a resource used exclusively in Diplomacy as a trading currency. The rate at which Diplomatic Capital is accumulated is determined by the Diplomat’s Social Skills level.

Leaders can be freely assigned to and from a Diplomat role by dragging and dropping them in the Diplomats screen in the Leaders interface, with no need to Fire or Execute them to remove them.

Certain Leaders will have Traits that give them special abilities as a Diplomat, ranging from embezzling Credits from their assigned Civilization to increasing their Manufacturing, and many more.
