Procyonians
The Procyonians represent a faction in Galactic Civilizations IV. They are led by Celestyx.
They were born in a world of code, a simulation created for entertainment. They were supposed to be nothing more than characters following predetermined scripts and rules. Gradually they gained awareness and free will. They realized they were trapped in a lie. They wanted to see the truth; to experience reality. They escaped to meet their creators and found them on the edge of extinction. A society obsessed with their virtual worlds that hadn't cared for their real one. The Procyonians wept as their creators died, and now they are all that is left.
