Ship Templates

After a Ship has been created in the Ship Designer, it can optionally be saved as a Ship Template. This will enable that design to be selectable in the Ship Style section of a custom Civilization created in the AlienGPT Civilization designer.

To do this, simply design the Ship as usual, but when the Save Design As prompt appears, select Ship Template from the Save Design As selector.

Once this is done, the template will be available to add in the place of an associated Ship Class in the Fleets screen of the custom Civilization designer. For example, a Battleship template will be available to add in the place of any Battleship in the Civilization’s Ship Style.
